Our Microbiology Department plays a vital role in the diagnosis and management of infectious diseases, providing essential services to our tertiary care hospitals and neighboring healthcare facilities. We operate a dedicated 24-hour emergency laboratory within the central laboratory, ensuring uninterrupted access to microbiological testing for urgent patient care. - Bacteriological culture, antibiotic susceptibility and microscopy
- Fungal culture and microscopy
- Serological screening test for Retrovirus, Hepatitis B Virus, Hepatitis C virus, Dengue virus, Chikungunya virus, Leptospira, VDRL (syphilis) & Malaria
- Retrovirus, Hepatitis B Virus, Hepatitis C virus reactive screening samples confirmed with ELISA
- RNTCP recognized centre for TB diagnosis by AFB staining
- WIDAL TEST for salmonella infection
- Slide agglutination for RA, ASLO, CRP with titre value
- Water bacteriology culture of environmental samples like OT and ICU for sterility checking Well equipped laboratory with high quality service
