In our cardiology department, we conduct advanced cardiac diagnostic procedures using state-of-the-art equipment. These facilities, integrated with other world-class amenities at the PK Das Institute of Medical Sciences, enhance our diagnostic capabilities. Our diagnostic equipment includes ECG machines, Treadmill machine, and the latest 2-D color Doppler Echocardiography machine.

Interventional Cardiology
Interventional cardiology encompasses the treatment of patients with heart vessel diseases such as coronary artery disease and peripheral vessel conditions. Our interventional cardiology program is backed by the state-of-the-art Siemens Artis flat panel catheterization laboratory, featuring advanced technology like flat detectors to minimize radiation exposure to patients. Operating 24/7, our catheterization labs ensure prompt acute angioplasty for admitted heart attack patients, leading to enhanced clinical outcomes and survival rates.
Utilizing our Siemens Artis flat-panel catheterization laboratory, our Cardiology Department has conducted numerous coronary and non-coronary procedures to date. With a focus on cutting-edge technology, we routinely perform drug-eluting stent placements. For patient comfort, we predominantly utilize the trans-radial (via hand) approach for coronary interventions. We are committed to preventing, investigating, and treating cardiac diseases.
